If so what are your experiences with it. Also how much ram do you recommend allocating to the virtual machine.
 
i haven't yet but I have been running server 08 R2 in a VM and i'd recommend allocating 2GB, or 1 GB minimum to it.
 
I have it in a VM on 2008 x64, I have 1.25gb allocated for it, not too bad, only reason I dont have more is the machine only has 2gb in it
 
I ran it in a VMWare box on Vista 64 to test it out for a little while. I only gave it 512M of ram though. Ran decently well. Haven't played with it until lately and now the activations has expired, lol! 😛
