Anyone run/started a FANZINE? EDIT: Or StreetTeam?

OK, well I have some free time to pursue some interests.
So I have been thinking of writing a fanzine for some of my
favourite bands and was thinking of calling it NEARVANA (gives you an idea of what I like)
but does not have to be about grungy alt. rock type stuff. Any rock will do
Its mainly just to amuse myself and get others interested in my
musical tastes as well as get turned on to others.

Does anyone have any experience or input?
Some bands I'm thinking of including:

Verbena
Chomsky
The Cassesttes
Burden Brothers
Braid
4 Backwoods
Sunday's Best
Others.....

Feel free to throw some bands out that deserve some
recognition (and preferably have a website).
