I am using the tubes and a TOP rolling machine. For some reason about 3/4 of an inch of the tube doesn't get filled with tobacco. Its always the end by the filter. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hmm, not offhand. I used to handroll cigarettes, goooood stuff, but they were inherently flimsy.

Sounds like you're putting too much tobaccy in the hand roller. Try using 2/3 of what you currently use and stretch it thin. What happens is it bunches up and then gets clogged in the rolling tube until more force is applied.

I roll my own have for few months. If cant get to fill all the way to back might be too moist or your overstuffing. The hand stuffers are a real pain to use, get a supermatic or excel crank stuffer. They are well worth it. I love spending $7 or less per carton. Good website at http://syo.dalrun.com/

You know you're good when you can roll a cig while riding a horse at a full gallop in a thunderstorm.

<---Grew up way back when.

bump for help. I have tried using less and more tobacco. Think the crank stuffer would be better than the injector kind?

I used to do it but one time my horse bucked me off. I quit after that.

Now HE smokes.

Crank injector is definatly better, for more constant packed smoke. I use a supermatic II I got off ebay for $25 shipped the blue supermatic premere is the top of the line but run around $45 but can also stuff 100's also make sure the tubes you bought are not the euro size filters( rizla and twister) the filters are a bit smaller and hard to stuff all they way back. Some good tobacco's to try are midnight special, stokers #2, gambler, Jester, Drum. Check around you might find a crank machine local but expect to pay way too much.

good place online to buy a machine non ebay is http://americanryo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=RYO1

also with hand injector open and close the lid a few times to pack down and cut the tobacco before injecting and if it is hard to inject your using too much dont force it clean it out and try again. and make sure tobacco is right humidity. a good way to tel if it feels a little crispy but doesnt crumble into dust its just right. if you can take a pinch and roll it into a ball its too moist. too moist and is hard to inject and too dry and it smokes too harsh. Hope this helps

youre packing it too tight, or uneven, or the tobacco is too wet.

The paper in bibles is good for rolling if you are out of papers. Better then anything else usually around.

::shakes head::

gimme a break...I was flying blind. Then I decided to actually read the instructions and found out what I was doing wrong. I guess those things are there for more than just the pretty pictures.

The trick is to start off right by selecting a properly shaped piece out of the litter box. Once you have mastered that, the rest is simple.
