I use to when I was younger. I was thinking how fun it'd be to get one to mess around with. I already have a truck and trailer. Could easily buy a chock and tie downs to bolt into the trailer. Just thinking about what kind of bike would be fun for a 31 year old guy to tool around on a track? I'd like to do some jumping not very high though. Mostly just throw a few rooster tails, little jumps, big smiles. Any suggestions on what I'll be needing bike, tools, etc?

Depends on your height and weight. If you're 200lbs or less, a 2-stroke 125cc bike will be a lot of fun, and they're dirt cheap to buy and maintain. I had a YZ125 when I was a teenager -- loved that thing and it was pretty reliable aside from a cracked radiator.

Yeah I've ridden 125 250's etc.. Big fun. Not sure if I want the upkeep. Rebuilding top ends every so often.
Wife says I'm having a midlife crisis. lol
I'm 185lbs btw

I grew up around dirtbikes, moved on to streetbikes when I was 15-16

FYI... I know way more people who got hurt on dirtbikes. Also FYI... adults don't heal the same as 10 year olds.

Fyi I've never seen someone get scooped off the dirt with a shovel.. Street not so much. I'm also in control of my safety on a dirtbike. On the street I have to hope and pray that the 88 year old grandma or the texting teenager sees me and doesn't turn me into human spaghetti.
I've ridden dirt bikes for many years as a kid. As long as I don't get brave and start flying around like a maniac I should be okay. Only live once.

KTM 350f and grab a set of supermoto wheels too. Switch back and forth, you won't need another bike ever again!
