I know they have those commercials and their website says it's no problem, but I'm wondering if they try to give you credit or something, looking to get a scanner and i've heard mixed things about the quality

You have every right (according to their return policy) to get a refund on your credit card (or whatever payment method you used) as long as you save the receipt. If you don't have the receipt then they might push a store credit on you.

You can return it for wahtever reason, as long as you have everything. They will give you your money back either as store credit, a gift card, or in the form you paid, your choice.

All transations over $100 are stored in the system. You never need a receipt.

This isn't Best Buy dude.

😛

You should get a refund in whatever form you payed (cc/cash). Make sure it's within 30 days and you have you receipt.

Computer related stuffs have 14 days return policy. However, I think scanner is 30 days, call them and ask the cust. serv.

Any computer related items can only be returned within 14 days. I just tried to return a video card and they said no, 17 days past purchase date.

They said no?

I've seen people return things bought 6 months ago.

Make sure to keep the original box, packaging, manuals, cables, CD's and most importantly your SALES RECEIPT.
