Anyone replaced rivets with screws.

This could belong in the case forum but I wanted to try here first. I drilled out some of the rivets on my sx1040. I have a tool that will put the rivets back in but I was wondering if anyone knew offhand the size of screw I could use to replace them.

well just match it to the gauge or size of the rivet you would use to replace them with...use a self threading sheet metal type screw unless you want to use washers and nuts.

Yes . . . I have replaced rivets on the swing-out base feet on two InWin Q500 towers. The rivets give out, so I replaced them with 1/8 in stove bolts, washers and wing nuts.
