It was about this little dude that would come out of his hiding spot when humans would leave their house. He had a Hawaiian shirt and would run around the house.... that's all I can remember.
 
he looks like the Hawaiin punch dude, that probably why you thought the shirt.

Being a 90s kid, I was expecting to jump into this thread and immediately say yes, but I have never for the life of me heard of or seen this show.

It was syndicated. It was also not very good. So it was largely the indies that picked it up, since they didn't have a competing kids block of their own.
