Yes Mattel made one like these, but they were smaller...think they were called "Electronic Football". Many were confiscated by irritated teachers! Cutting the speaker wire was a must. Oh yeah, the Mattel's in the backround late in SuperTramp's "The Logical Song"

hmmm i remembered the mattel version as having a white case and pictures of football players on it,man that was a long time ago.Did you ever have the first video game "pong"???My sister got one for christmas and i still remember opening it up and ooooing and aahhhing at the giant IC chip inside.hehe
