they were on mtv for fvck's sake. being on mtv makes it retarded by default.
 
There was a funny bit where he goes into an instrument shop and asks for a violin. He asks the owner how strong it is, takes out a hammer and smashes it to bits. Then he asks the guy what he'd do if he walked out of the store right now and the guy says "If you walk out the door right now I'm going to kick your ass".
