Anyone remember The Outfield?

I've only listened to songs from their first album (Play Deep), but I'm sure their other albums (Bangin', etc.) are good.

Sort of a Police clone, but they've got their own sound.

:)

I like Play Deep, I have it on MiniDisc. I haven't heard their other ones, yet.

The whole first album was good. Second album had some good songs, Since You've Been Gone being the best, IMO.

I only remember one song:
"I don't want to lose your love tonite."

Good 80's song. But I haven't heard any of their other stuff really.

Yes, you could listen to the whole CD without skipping a track. The second, I think had four songs that I liked the same way and the third ... I think had one song that I enjoyed.

You are so right, Play Deep can be played from start to finish. All are solid songs. I am a big fan of Bangin' as well. I have been able to see them twice and they put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Granted I was talking with Mr. Brownstone, but thats beside the point. :)

Check them out at http://www.theoutfield.com.

And yes, Since You've Been Gone is their best song IMO too! Followed closely by 'Moving Target'.

That is a great 80's song...I think I'll listen to it right now.

One of my favorite bands. Some of their songs are great, and the other ones are so cheesy it makes them great. They have a newer song called "Girlfriend's girlfriend" about having a threesome-Classic!
I have seen them in concert a few times, most recently at the Bottle and Cork in Dewey Beach last summer. It was a great show.
