Anyone remember the game Daggerfall?

I actually never had the full version but several years ago I got the demo of that baddie on a PC gamer cd or something. That game was sweet. I just put my points into spy and stealth skills up and tried to bust caps and pickpocket stuff. That was cool.

I'm kinda feeling like something like that game? Is there any fairly current games out that are very similar (i just want to drop some townspeople and take stuff from houses 🙂)?

The old Elder Scrolls game? Yes I remember that one. It was so open-ended as to be boring cuz the game world was huge but shallow. I recall many, many bugs. I recall giving up about 1/5 the way through!

Modern day equivalent? Hmmm...the Might and Magic series comes close. I played #6 and #7 but skipped #8. That would be my recommendation.

I hated how you had to drag your mouse to "swing" your sword. stupid game, stupid interface.

There is supposedly a sequel in development - called Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, I think. Doubt its coming out anytime soon but it looks like it has a lot of potential.

I did like Daggerfall but too many bugs ,the new Morrowind looks good,I will be buying it but it`s going to be a long wait.

🙂
