It had a discussion board on the science of growth at any age.. Some of the recommendations included ankle weights and doing lots of breaststrokes when swimming. Anyone remember the site url? thanks..

I thought a recent study came out that said Tall people are smarter and overall healthier... Which means they shouldnt die earlier.

Hell I'm a short guy and nothing much pisses me off more than hearing about insecure short guys wanting to be taller.

It won't happen, deal with it.

If your growth plates have closed there really isn't anything you can do.

What are the growth plates? At what age do the close?
Do these also limit body building results?

Growth plates are the part of your bone that grows as you get older (to make you taller). For a male, they are probably done growing about the time you are 18. They have nothing to do with body building results.

I am tall and I'd rather be shorter to be honest. Things just aren't designed for tall people. Try getting in a sports car if you are 6' 4". You will feel like a sardine.
