It did soo much of my homework for me and to think it came standard with the Compaq my parents bought in 1993!

heh, i remember having encarta on cd's....there were a ton of them, and yet, they were never as good as britannica in paper!
 
I'm another Encarta 95 owner. I was amazed that they had video of Joe Carter hitting a home run to end the '93 World Series on it. Looking at that file on disc, it turned out to be an uncompressed AVI file that ran for all of 10 seconds. How times have changed. 🙂
 
i remember it was revolutionary when i could watch moving video from encarta, like video of teh space shuttle launch.

I got the MSN encarta a long ass time ago for like a special 40 dollars with like 3 proofs of purchase from cherios boxes.
