Anyone remember GeoWorks?

I saw the other BEOS post and could not resist. GeoWorks was so cool, and came with a 10 hour trial of AOL 1.0 for IBM'ers. After that, it was about 6 bucks AN HOUR as I recall. My oh my how times have changed!

I worked at Egghead Software at that time and sold GeoWorks like popcorn. As I recall also there was a ten dollar spliff 🙂

i remember Geoworks. i was tempted but never bought it.
was this about the time of Windows 3 ?

did it come with a lighter, too ?

Yes, right around that time. OS/2 was also a player at that time. Not sure if anything came with a lighter, and I smoked at that time also 🙂 Dave

Wow, this thread makes me feel old. I actually liked GeoWorks. Too bad there isn't a modern version around.

I remeber it on my Comadore 64. It was called GEOS on the C64. Dose this officialy mean I am old?
