I do occasionally, but I would rather do it on a netbook, need to save up to get one though.

I personally wouldn't get a netbook yet. The technology is still in it's infancy, HUGE improvements are comming down the pipe almost as fast as the new models.

Fusetalk's Javascript and Mobile Safari don't get along well when I try to quote a post, so I don't usually post from my iPhone

Yes I've noticed this.

Another thing is the reply textarea field often shrinks to a single character in mobile safari.

PITA the few times I played with my former GF's iPhone & the forum. Takes way too long to type anything on that pseudo-keyboard.

PDA, no. Smartphone, yes. Treo 800w specifically.

PDA, smartphone.... is there a difference any more?

Usually a PDA has a touchscreen whereas a smartphone does not. So, yes, there is a difference.

Not so much anymore, since pretty much everyone is making an iPhone clone. But I think his point is that a smartphone has pretty much the same functionality as a PDA, even if they use different technology for input.

So typical Blackberry = smartphone, typical Palm = PDA?

I was under the impression that Palm is no longer making strict PDAs and that smartphones will be the only thing in future development?

I browse the web on my Blackberry when I'm at work from time to time.
