2.7 gigs? That person needs to learn how to encode stuff. He should've kept it to at least 2.1 that way it'd only take 3 CDs instead of 3 6/7 CDs. BT people are really serious when it comes to wasted space, I learned that from doing Kings games.

Lawsuits would've happened. How is it any different to TiVo it instead of tape it the old-fashioned way? Besides, it's not illegal unless you rebroadcast or redistribute it in any way.
