I am looking at downsizing some of my cases. I currently use full to mid size towers and want something small. I would need it to fit an ATX motherboard. any suggestions would be appretiatied.

Good high quality, budget ATX case & psu:

Inwin "S"- Series, S500, S523, etc. (available from www.newegg.com).
Dimensions: 16 1/2"h. x 7 3/4"w. x 18 5/16"d.

Avoid the "A"-Series, they are slightly smaller, but have poor cooling and tougher access.

The LanBoy is one awesome lil case. ;)

Haven't had the others mentioned so I can't compare. It's my second system but I thought of using it as my main one because it's so light and still has 4 5.25" bays.

I have a ak-31 in it with an sk7/antec lighted fan. Keeps the 1700@1900 cool just fine.

I am still working on a final setup, but here's what I've got running right now...
A delta exhaust fan. An Alpha 8045 with a smartfan2. these are loud as crap but I have them running to see how good my cooling gets.
Both on high with ambient temp of 75ºF(24ºC) and my temps are: 27ºC & 36ºC (cpu is an 2100+ oc'ed to 2200 @1.725vcore)
Thats for cool, as for my quiet solution, I'm waiting on a rheobus right now to tone down the delta.
I experimented with a quiet setup last week...
Panaflo fba08a24l intake & exhaust, and the smartfan came with a rheostat... anything under 3300 rpm's sounds very smooth.
With this setup my load temps went up to 29-30ºC & 40-41ºC. (thats still overclocked)
IMHO this is very good for a case with 1 exhaust fan.
This computer is at ear-level only 2 feet away, and the only disturbing noise was the hard drive, which I am replacing with a barracuda V
I sleep in the same room.

Hey Thholr

I'm waiting for the new antec cases:

The fusion (part of the lifestyle series with features like the sonata) might be just what you are looking for.....

# TruePower 380Watt ATX12V power supply with single fan design for enhanced quietness
# Front mounted USB & IEEE1394 (FireWire) ports
# Front Audio ports
# 7 Drive Bays:
- 2 x 5.25" external drive bays
- 2 x 3.5" external drive bays
- 3 x 3.5" internal drive bays with rubber grommets to absorb hard drive vibrations
# Motherboards: Standard ATX
