i got one of these about 3 months ago it is actually a fujitsu monitor it says comes with DVI-D to DVI-I converter so if you want to run it with d-sub (like i do) then you with need another adapter.

the one i received has one black pixel and one white pixel, which i only found when i full screened a blue signal. over all i really found to this monitor to be really impressive, i love the wide screen and having the speakers built in is convenient.

it is hooked up to my wife computer so i have never pursued it fully but, there are still two mysteries to this monitor.

one. it has an ir sensor on the front.....for what?

two. see that little monochrome lcd below the screen....it doesnt do anything.....besides look cool! and it does a good job of it! it lights up blue and shows some logo on it....thats it. maybe cuz i have it hooked up with vga and not DVI or maybe there is a setting in the japanese osd to make it flip out and tell me the secrets of the universe of at least the refresh and frame rate.

overall it looks sweet
performs sweet
the price is sweet

i recomend it

theomms: Resolution is 1280x768. How does it handle 1024x768? Does it just give two black bars on either side bascially allowing native 1024x768? Or will it distort the image and try to stretch it?
