They are predicting more than 12" of snow tonight and tomorrow for Detroit. Haven't had a storm like this in a few years.

Can't wait. I want to go sledding already, and I don't have to work next till Tuesday. We haven't had enough snow yet this year. I hope we get more than what's predicted.

I'm quite pissed off about it, honestly. Last night they were saying up to 24", now they are saying under 12". :(

We're supposed to get ice here in DC. People are dumb enough in the rain here, I'm not stepping within 3 feet of a paved surface tonight.

Snow? What is this snow of which you speak? I'm sitting on the lanai overlooking the Pacific Ocean just outside Ka'anapili Maui right now....and for the next week...currently about 78 degrees with intermittent light rain...but I swapped some PM's with whozyerdaddy a couple of days ago, and he said they had a mini-hurricane here last week...knocked out the power for most of the island for a day or so...damn...but, the drinks are good, the food is great, and it's still gonna be at least in the mid-70's...:p

Steady light to moderate snow will continue tonight and become
heavy at times late tonight and Sunday. The snow may mix with
some sleet late tonight and Sunday morning... especially in areas
along and south of the thruway. Storm total accumulations by early
Monday morning are expected to range from 15 to 20 inches... with
the greatest amounts near Lake Ontario.

Anyone knows how good Albany Int'l Airport is when it comes to dealing with snow and stuff? They aren't going to cancel flights left and right are they?

I'm always driving around and working, so it's not much fun for me.

But at least when it's snowing it's not 2 degrees.

Calling for 6-12"+

See, I told my dad that all these predictions were full of crap...I'll be happy if I wake up with a foot of snow on the ground. Haven't had snowfall like that in years.
