Excellent series, in fact I just reading Ender's Shadow, a parallel novel. Ender's game would have to be one of my favourite sci fi series of all time.

Riverworld also looks really cool.. I watched the movie on Sci-fi last night and it really got me thinking.

The series is, in my opinion, so-so. But Ender's Game was phenomenal, and I highly recommend it. I'm anxious to try out Ender's Shadow.

Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow are execellent, I was not a impressed with the rest of the series.

The first few books of the Riverworld series is also good but, once again, the later ones come up short.

I loved all four Ender books, Xenocide being my favorite.
I loved the first bean book, the second two were allright. I wonder what the fourth is gonna be about.

Id say they continually go downhill from book one to four, but three (xenocide) and four (children of the mind) were a little more entertaining than two, even though by book four the author really started reaching. I just couldnt accept the whole jane, peter and valentine thing.

Enders shadow was pretty cool, but you wont find any surprises there except for the first couple chapters. Personally, I couldnt stand bean. He's just too calculating and cold.

i finished them about 6 months ago, and they were stellar. they get better as you go, but even ender's game is a wonderful book. suggestion: to get a better understanding of these books, read "Man and his Symbols" by Carl Jung before you read the Ender Quartet.

I've read the following so far:

Ender's Game
Ender's Shadow
Shadow of the Hegemon

I plan to read Shadow Puppets next, whenever I can get my hands on it...

But I'm still confused about the best order to read all of these. I was originally going to read them all in order of which they were written, but then I learned that books 3-5 are set 3000 some odd years after Ender's Game. How's that for linearity?

I just read all of Ender's Game today at work. I really enjoyed the book. I'm trying to read through the entire series before I have to head back to college. Ender's Game left me with a ton of questions.

I read Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide.

Most of them were fine. Speaker of the Dead was so bad. Xenocide, I could not get through the first 2 pages.

I've read most of Orson Scott Card's fictional works and the Ender and parallel series were good. I liked the ones that actually had Ender in them but the parallel novels kind of felt like OSC was beating a dead horse. I wish he had done some more work on the Worthing universe. I can't wait for Crystal City.
