Why doesnt Bromden use their real names? (big nurse and black boys)

I would guess because he then could be sued for slander or he could be forced into negotiations for authorization for use of a name.

Very good book, imo. In fact, it is the only book I've read that had me thinking about it months after I read it. I felt emotionally attached to some of the characters.
