Anyone read Musashi by Eli Yoshikawa?

I am reading it now. I couldn't put the book down all weekend. :)

It is slightly different than James Clavell's Shogun series, but I actually think it is a better story.

I am reading this currently and another book by Stephen Ambrose on you'll never guess... World War II. ;)

Trying to start reading Plato's Laws, but it isn't as good as the Republic. :(

Yes, it's my favorite book!

He has another book translated into English called Taiko, but I didn't feel that it's as good as Musashi. Of course, nothing can match Musashi!

btw, isn't his name Eiji Yoshikawa, not Eli?
