I think I may have finally found a way to purchase an item that cannot be found in the states.

Can anyone go to the link below and try to add it to cart and see if they will ship to the US and tell me for what price? My zip is 32725.

Thanks so much!!

Artikel aus dem Bereich Elektronik & Foto sowie Küche, Haus & Garten können wir nur nach Deutschland und Österreich versenden.

(from this page)

They say that they send items from the category Electronics & Photo only to Germany and Austria. I guess they made this rule with damageable items like cams in the mind. I would try to mail/contact them.

(Transport costs to the USA for normal articles are ?13 / purchase plus ?2,50 / article)

Amazon.de accepts international orders, maybe you have to create another account first?

Since this is a very small item, I can assume that that shipping charge (if I could actually get it to work) would be around $20?

Assuming the shipping charge is the same as for a DVD, it would be ?15,50 =$19,15 according to yahoo!

I only once ordered some T-Shirts from across the pond (by ThinkGeek) for $98 inclusive shipping, but surprise surprise four weeks later a letter from DHL came, they were so nice to pay the Swiss VAT for me in advance ($7,53) for a "small" administrative fee... All considered, I had to pay another $25,37 to DHL). So, better inform yourself on taxes on imports.
