About a week ago I was walking through B&N and just happen to find a shelf full of Black Library books. I randomly picked 'Eisenhorn' because I love the 40k PC games and (on the back) was claimed to be the author's best work, so I bought the book just to see if it was any good.
I read through the first novel in the book and wow! It is a very well written, action oriented, Sci-Fi novel that left me at 2AM not able to stop reading. I say action oriented because it lacks solid character development for characters other then Eisenhorn. A big plus is that the novel is heavily influenced by the 40k universe and is really awesome if your a fan of the games.
Most likely I'll be finishing this book within the next week or two, any suggestions on what other books I should read? There are so many books, it was daunting looking at the shelf and picking just one book. It's kind of disappointing that I am reading Dan Abnett's best work first, hopefully the others won't be too far off.
