Not a "milestone" but an interesting number, 166,666.6 miles should be coming up soon in my 91 Accord. I think I'm about 500 miles away, after that though 200k is the next thing I'll look forward to
Just reached an even 57000KM last week Was 47xxx when I bought it last November.
Mostly drive it to and from work. Guess I'm on the low end of the scale when it comes to drivers racking up the miles on their cars. I think it'll be about 15000-17000KM/year.
I think that MAY help in terms of its resale value if and when I ever do decide to trade up on it. Better not get ahead of myself, I've still got 4yrs payment left on the car.
My '81 Chevy Custom Deluxe 1/2ton only has a 5 digit odometer, so it only has 25k miles. We don't know how many times it's flipped, but the truck is pretty tight all around, so probably only 125k on the body.
The '87 Camry is approaching 184,000.. time for an oil change, heh.
I still haven't decided what I'm going to put in there for the winter months...
While working for GM, I talked to a guy who had just under 500,000 miles on his Suburban. It was either a '95 or a '96 -the last year they put the diesel in the Suburbans. A lot of diesel owners will tell you that their diesel isn't even broken in until the first 100,000 miles.
300,000+ miles on my '84 caravan. Turned it in yesterday to the blind people becuase it was getting too expensive to fix. The odometer reset a couple of times ~ interesting to see it go 99999 to 00000.
Just hit 205.000 on my 95 Toyota T100. Been a great truck, never had a problem.
I do change the oil every 3500 and the tranny, rear end and coolant every year.
Dang thing Looks like A$$, people keep hitting me I get their check and put them in the bank , it gets great milage and never breaks down. . I have not had a payment on it for over 6 years
