Last night I went to The Globe's last rave, sad. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else on the forum raves/break dances/listens to techno?
Noiv, Sikora, and Proximal was there last night. It was roughly 2:30 at night in the Jungle Room and no one else was strutten' there stuff, so I got on the floor up front and started scratchin' and poppin when a black guy wearing all white (overshirt, shirt, pants, hat, shoes; wierd!) came up close for a challenge. It's usual to challenge someone else without notice here.
So he starts his thing as I'm doing mine, and I try to match his moves and we're both doin' pretty good. Wierd thing is, we both went down to start a six step at the same time. After that, he did a power move (windmill) and I was going to counter with a two-hand-stand...but right before I went down I caught my toe (in grown toenail) real hard on the ground and just sorta limped out of the way and sat down
I got over it in about 15 minutes and moved back to the hardcore room...
And all the hottest chicks had boyfriends, wtf? Even the two girls in school uniforms and ultra-ultra short skirts with teddy-bear backpacks had boyfriends. They soon took off their shirts and pepped up the hardcore room a bit Too bad they were probably no more than a 32/34b/c. Wish I had my camera, but by the time I remembered I had one turning around and driving 80 miles to get it seemed like a bad idea
