Anyone purchased stuff from this website? Not confident for a big purchase.

1. I'm trying to buy this Briggs & Stratton 1696619 250cc 27" dual stage snowblower.

2. It's sold out or on backorder on Amazon, Sears, and Home Depot. Then came across this vendor.

3. The place looks big fishy. Shipping is entirely free for this 180 lb machine. Even Amazon offers 'scheduled shipping'. The price is cheaper at $820~ vs $900 at Amazon.

It's odd how snowblowers can be hard to come by when it's middle of winter. I had trouble getting mine too. You pretty much have to buy in like September. It's like if they order a batch, then sell them, and that's it.

Wow, sadly you're this clueless. Maybe, b/c stores and manufacturers don't want to be stuck with unsold inventory so they order/manufacture what they think they need and if they sell out the better.

Coulda saved at least a hundred bucks buying in the summer. Now is the time to shop for lawnmowers.

Yep. Decent planning around seasons (assuming you live in an area where you get them) can save you a lot of money on clothes, tools, holiday decorations etc.

We were at Sam's Club on Saturday and everyone was loading up over priced snowblowers because of the impending snow storm. Come on people - its Michigan. There should be no surprise that we are getting a snow storm but tons of people still buy them at peak prices. Same thing with tires.

I do the same thing and buy stuff off season. Cruising through the Xmas decorations this past weekend at walmart and noticed a bunch of lawn mowers marked down. Very good bargains.

I bought my snow thrower last year in late august. For some awesome reason Sears was cutting several hundred dollars off.
