Reviews looking solid, game looks great...

Anyone play it yet? What do you think as a gamer and not a paid staffer at a review site?
 
Is this the game by the Bastion folks? While the art looks amazing, I wasn't really a fan of Bastion (despite all the praise it gets).
 
Same developers. I'm just hoping someone has played it even a bit for me to get an opinion outside of the media. I don't really trust metacritic user reviews that much, lots of people seem to post a negative review based on things not related to the game itself in their reviews.
