Anyone playing their free month of Vanguard?

I have to say, I'm impressed with the changes they made. I quit back in June of 2007 after gold duping shut down the economy on my server. There's been server merges, and lots of changes, and I have to say, the game is drastically improved. I think I'm going to re-sub.

I only play once a week, when my regular group is on. Pretty much the only time I can guarantee getting a full group going.

Outside of that 1 night, I have no desire to play at all.

Let us know how that goes Nebor - I'd consider starting up again. I only played for a month or two, i forget my class...necromancer maybe...

Think it was from 18th Dec 07 they offered the free playing time for ex -players.

I remember getting the thing that said "Have a free month of EQ2 on us because Vanguard sucks so bad."

Maybe I'll have to check.

I patched and was unable to log onto any characters as it could not reach the server...i could create new character though...what a pos engine they use, such a shame...

I can login today however my European server was down ,I think for maintenance,still on the free playing time .

There wasn't any email. I just stumbled across it when reviewing my old station account. Pure chance. Ends Jan. 20th for all previous players.

I'll try again tonight, i always hated the daily server reboots they did...

Playing again. I like it a lot. It's much more fun now that it doesn't run like crap.

They changed my class (warrior) a lot though. Also they did away with equipment experience and just made all items leveled. As a result, a lot of my equipped gear is outside my level. Which wasn't a problem... until I died. Then I could put my gear back on.
