Anyone playing "The Witcher"

Have a lot of good reviews how the game has a very good story to tell.

So anyone playing this? Came out on 30th last month.

Is the US version really cut? Is there a way to "uncut" the us version? I want to play this game but not the censored version and I cant find a reputable online retailer for the uncensored version.

Gogamer is pretty reputable, and has the Import version.

Thanks, just ordered it. Weird thing is that I tried logging back into that site after creating a login and PW and it wouldnt let me log in. I tried resetting the PW but received an email saying they cant locate a password for that email address. But I received an order confirmation from them to the same email. Odd.

GoGamer is definitely safe to order from, even if your login is flaky.

I haven't seen anything about unlocking the censored version, but I've avoided the main threads here and at ArsTechnica in case I end up buying it (I hate spoilers).

Ditto. Diablo anything is anything BUT story driven. It is probably the least story driven RPG game I have ever had the misfortune to play let alone spend my hard earned $ on.

Funy thing JUST happened. I still couldnt log onto the website where i ordered the game last week. I sent them an email saying such, and I am wondering on the status of my order. As soon as I hit send, the mail guy came and lo and behold I have Witcher in my paws. Now THATS customer service! 🙂

i heard the nudity were cut, which i was baffled... with all the violence, the nudity is pretty tame.

you can uncut them by replacing the .bik files from the international version. (i believe)
