Anyone Playing Flatout on PC?

Picked up this game and it just doesn't seem to want to run on my system. While it "runs" EVERYTHING is going at about 2 FPS... even the intro-splash Nvidia movies, in-game menu etc.

I have up to date drivers for everything on my system (3000+@2.8ghz, 6600GT, 1GIG RAM) so I'm kinda lost as to what could be the issue. I patched to the 1.1 patch too hoping that would resolve... no luck.

If anyone is running this please let me know

don't know specificaly what the issue is but i'd assume it's a problem with the vid card drivers. fallout is ageing to say the least so new drivers might not be compatible anymore. try rolling back to older drivers.

well thats great for Fallout... but I'm talking Flatout
I've never really seen drivers affect splash screens though... sure in-game menus and grpahics, but a splash screen/intro is nothing but a video file playing...
