Anyone playing Devil May Cry 4?

Curious as to the reception this is getting from other pc gamers. I picked it up today and it plays, looks, and runs great. 10x better 'port' than Resident Evil 4 and Lost Planet. Probably b/c they did it in-house this time from what I've heard, instead of outsourcing it to some 3rd party company.

Kudos to Capcom for releasing what used to be mostly console type games! (Street Fighter 4 is coming to PC as well apparently, as well as new Bionic Commando and RE5). Definitely makes pc gaming much more interesting.

Controls are still a little crummy, not as bad as RE and LP though. Come to think of it, using a ps2 pad, doing in-game control config is something you really really have to avoid since your buttons will be all over the place (L1 acting as the select button, etc); so make use of the control config in the launcher!

As far as it being a port goes, I understand it doesn't have mouse support, so how you can say it's better than RE4 which didn't have mouse support either, I don't get. Sure it runs great with a x360 controller, but for gamers who don't have controllers, playing this game on a keyboard isn't really a viable option. It's a lazy port, but having a gamepad, I'm sure glad they did it anyway.

Not sure anyone would really want to play this game with a keyboard and mouse. I guess they assumed you'd have a gamepad if you bothered to pick it up. I don't think that'd be enough to qualify it as a lazy port. If you've tried RE4 or LP.....well, now those were most definitely lazy ports.

Capcom as usual did a pathetic job with the port, controls are pretty difficult to configure ( i used a PS3 controller, movement was hyper sensitive) I only played for about 25 minutes (most of which was trying to get a hang of the controls). The game isn't worth it though.

Demo played perfectly for me last week with a 360 controller.

Work goes so slow when you have something to look forward to V_V
