I purchased this recently on the steam sale (got 3 expansions and the original) for <$5. Now the package is up to $16 or so.
Graphically it is somewhat disappointing but once you get past that it is somewhere in the unbelievably awesome range. Really well thought out premise and design. Just a really great RTS game with some excellent features.

I guess I'm a little late to the party but it is seriously a lot of fun with so much customization available, you can shape the game however you want.
I couldn't find any other thread on it, so, anyone playing? Anyone want to crush some AI with me? Or try to at least.
