anyone played the call of duty 2 demo?

pretty cool. probably the best sound quality i've ever heard in a game, makes me wish i had a good surround setup instead of headphones.

if you ahve good headphones they can be nearly as good... better if you dont have your 5.1 set up properly... if you are using $5 pieces o crap from walmart then yes.... even a poorly constructed 5.1 would more thank likely sound worlds better

I didn't think the sound was as good as in CoD:UO, but it's only a demo so who knows what the actual game will be like...

I d/l it the other night and played it. The action is intense and, yes, the sound is awesome. It took me about 10 minutes to finish the first level.

Brother in Arms has a new demo that just came out. It's not as good as CoD2 demo but it lasts a little longer.

the game only lasted about 24 minutes, i don't know how you didn't finish it.

Did you ever play the stage where you were riding in the jeep going through a German controlled town. You were in the passenger seat and you were just along for the ride shooting at the krauts. That was my favorite stage since it was like a theme-park ride. You let the AI do the driving and you would take a corner and run into a tank and had to back out before it owned you in the face haha.

This game has no right to run as crappy as it does. It doesnt look as good as HL2 or BF2 and runs way worse than both.

That being said, the sound, and feel of the game was better in the original.

I could only get decent frame rates playing at 800x600... A64 3000, 1Gig Ram, 6800 GT.. XP 64 bit OS. Hopefully some heavy optimizations are done before release.

Definitely. But there is just something about MOH:AA... not sure what it is, but I love it. Even the other MOH games can't touch it.
