Its not old... its seasoned. Look at all the ppl still playing CS.

CS is old.

I tried to play SOF 2 but I thought the level design was awful. I liked the first one more.

I tend to stick to CTF as well. Every once in a while I'll hop on CoreISO's server which rotates CTF, INF, and DEM.

well i still play cs everyonce in a while, nice quick game. well thats when i take a break from 1942

elite force is a single player game.. so its not all that comparable to cs and stuff. i thought soldier of fortunes single player was rather bleh, never tried the multi though.

I really enjoyed Soldier of Fortrune II and I've finished the single player scenario three times. The graphics are excellent, the gore is the best you'll ever see in any current game and the weapons are amazingly realistic. Also during the course of the game you'll visit a lot of different countries around the world.

I have just started playing SOFII single player and it's not a bad game, just a bit hard to infiltrate and be sneaky.
Heh I'm used to running in with guns blazing.

The multiplayer rocks and it can be pretty intense in a large match. Try the "no lag" server with 32 people in deathmatch. It gets pretty crazy.

SOFII is definitely my favorite game, and has been since I bought it on release day (I waited anxiously for its release)...

Although seeing as Raven is doing Quake IV I guess that means we wont see a SOF3 for a while?

Yeah, SOF2 has been out for awhile and I haven't heard the slightest thing about a third installment... hmmmm

The SP was not nearly as good as the original, however, the MP is the best! I play as "I AM the Law", on the "HoP" and "LRD" servers mostly.

SoF2 rocks in MP! My favorite is mp_barn with the realdamage mod. Gimme those two, with FF and I'm having a good time!

You guys saying the online play is the best thing since sliced bread should check RTCW: Enemy Territory out. Free download and as much fun as CS was.

I play both but like SOFII better. Mostly because it's really hard to find people that know what the hell they are doing in Enemy Territory which makes the game not as fun.

That's too often true.

Maybe I should get into SOF2...

Still, anyone reading this who is reasonably smart and experienced with FPS games should check Enemy Territory out.
