Anyone play or playing Motor City Online?

I got it the other day, i think im gonna keep it for a year.

I played everquest and couldnt get into it, but this game has a lot of potential. Its one of the best online games ive played in a while

i was a beta tester for it.. its pretty fun.. but i cant see paying to play it.. thats me though...

Wow ya really think it's that good? Cause the reviews still don't say it's very good, and although the beta test was fun, it definitely wasn't a game I'd pay $10/month for.

Although the idea is so damn cool...

yeah i was in the open beta for it too. i really liked that game, i was just starting to get a nice car and they stopped the beta
i dont like the idea of paying monthly to play tho, but it was a great game.

I was going to buy it until I found out it was an online game and you had to pay for it. I have dial up internet and no credit card, so it would be pointless. Looked pretty cool though.

I was a beta tester and it did not seem worth paying for. Honestly I would have been more attracted to it with more modern cars - I think the basic idea is a good one. I used to have a lot more fun playing modem-to-modem NFS3 (with Glide acceleration, baby!) against my old roommate, though.

i disagreed totally with paying to play, but the way i look at it, its $110 for the year. (first month free)

Its the equivalent of 2 xbox games, in which i play sports games. I usually sell the old ones for new ones, like the 2002 season for 2003. And that is yearly also. Not as much money but the same concept.

Uh oh, first month free is the way Everquest gets you too How is the game? What can you do in it? I've never seen or played it before but saw it when it was announced and it looked pretty good.

I agree with Don Vito. I beta tested this game for two months and simply felt that it
wasn't worth paying for - it's simply too shallow.

I really liked it, but the cost was too much to play.....

I kept it for a month or two, I hope the idea of online gaming only doesn't take off!
