Anyone Play Airsoft?

I've been looking into getting a cheap airsoft gun. My brother plays with about 12 other people and I think it'd be fun to join in. I'm not exactly ready to drop $100 on a toy gun, so I thought I'd ask the collective wisdom that is ATOT. Where can I find the best deals? I've been looking into gas guns because it seems they are the sweet spot between authenticity (don't have to cock after every shot) and value. Do non-blowback gas guns still need to be cocked after every shot?

If anyone else has any suggestions/tips, please share!

Spring-loaded need to be recocked. Battery powered do not. However, I had a spring and an electrical pistol, and MUCH prefered the spring one for power and range.

if u want a decent rifle, get an AEG made by Classic Army or Tokyo Marui. It is from $240-$400

If u wnat a good gas blowback pistol, get a kwa Glock 19. great gun for the price. full metal slide, reliable, easy to maintain. $110.

I get all my gear from www.airsoftextreme.com

And yes, i freaking love airsoft.!

Let me just say this, me and 2 of my friends went out and bought the plastic 20-30$ guns, and every single one of them broke. These are the spring loaded pistols. They're all pieces of sh!t, and will break eventually. If you think your going to stay in the hobby, its smart to pay more and get more. You would be better off with the brands Rufio recommended, you get what you pay for.
