Anyone plan on investing in the Supermicro IPO?

They should be ipo'ing today if all goes well. I personally have worked with a lot of their equipment and have faith in the company. Hope I'm right about this one.

Great. Now you're all set for retirement.

A dollar in the equivelant of 2 days is pretty damn good.

Good Luck OP

Yep, and following that pattern there are 365 days in a year so at this rate he'll have made $182 a share by the end of the year.

I love Supermicro. Use them in most servers I build. I wouldn't base a stock purchase off that though.....you could have an inferior product and still turn a nice profit.

I just don't see a lot of growth in the computer hardware market. Razor thin profits and the 800 pound gorilla trio of Dell/HP/IBM doesn't leave much room for others to gain much market share.

The reason I chose Supermicro is simply because I've used their equipment a lot in the past. Their servers are excellent quality and their price is hard to beat. They have remained profitable over the past 6 years, increasing revenue each year. It is a cut throat market, but there is always room for an good server manufacturer imo
