Anyone placed an 'egg order this morning?

I've contacted the bank and they show no charge request. They have put a note on my account to OK the charge. This, after the first request was not authorized.

I just did two live chats with a Newegg rep and she resubmitted and I received a second won't authorize email. She says she'll put in for a manual request but it won't happen until tomorrow.

It'll all work out, I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems. CC on USBank.

Edit: Now that I think of it, this has to be a Newegg problem. I placed an order with ZZF this morning and it went through on the same card.

On my CC when I order from 2 online hardware sites in the same day or something sometimes my CC puts a hold on teh charges till they contact me- maybe your CC bank just isn't as good as notifying for their "fraud alert" ?

on a side note newegg is pissing me off with their package.. I ordered a mobo and a hdd and I got an 20"x20"x8" box FILLED with packing peanuts and it took me forever to clean em up and break down the box.

OTOH this is exactly why I love Newegg - they know how to pack things properly, and I can reuse the box and packaging materials for stuff I sell on this forum ;)

I like the air packages as a filler from like amazon or boxes that make more appropriate sense for their contents in regards to size. Isn't there some sort of Styrofoam environmental thing too?

my purchase last week didn't clear. I got a call from my CC asking me clear the charges before my order would go through. I didn't realize this for 2 days though so my order was well delayed. :(

It got cleared early this afternoon. Had an email when we got home.

I think that there was a glitch somewhere in the chain and Newegg's system churned out "not authorized" emails in response.

I'm kinda hoping I'll get my stuff on Wednesday (which is why I was making phone calls, live chat, etc.), but I don't think it's going to happen. That would be extra fast delivery under normal circumstances for me.
