No Fry's here, but that's a great price, you could make some money off those at that price.

How much do you think? If I could make $25 or more it might be worth the trip to Wilsonville (30 minutes away).

Look at this sale, that's just for the GBA, the games are selling retail for $30 or $40 apiece, you might find some of them for $25 if you are lucky, so for purposes of estimation say $25/game, $100GBA => $150 off your $89. Just a guess though, a lot depends on how hard they remain to be found retail.

Look at this Indigo one, that's the color I pre-ordered, I might sell mine if the price stays good like that, I don't need it until Nov.

I'd be willing to pay someone who went to fry's a little extra for a GBA, I have to sell my Dreamcast first though :p

L vis - yes they will play the GBC games. The only thing is the GBC games will not take advantage of the larger GBA screen, it can play in smaller screen mode, or I think there is a switch to stretch to fit, but then the proportion is gone. I don't have one yet so hopefully if someone does they can give better details of compatibility.

1) Of the 3 colors which are the best or most popular (in order or popular to least popular)?
2) I am getting Austin Powers I and Austin Powers II for GBC for free. If I were to sell these how much should I ask for?
3) Why am I buying this when I'm probably only going to use it for a month (at the most)?

From what ive seen Glacier is the most popular, every place i go too doesnt have any of them. Artic seems to be second popular and indigo is the easiest to find, at least in my area, but glacier is not anywhere to be seen.

If you like Zelda, i would highly suggest you get one of the 2 new ones that just came out recently, i have Orcale of Seasons and its an amazin game.

Thanks KaOTiK, what do you know about Super Mario Advance? Is it basically a ported version of Super Mario Brothers 2 for Nintendo or is it more than that? I hope they have some demo's out because I want to pick up 2-3 games but don't know which ones I'll enjoy the most.

Will my Radio Shack NiMH batteries work in the GBA? I'm not sure how many mAH's they are something like 650, 1300 or 1600.

LOL @ Uber Neuman give into the temptation!

Though I own one, I have to say I really don't love the screen. (I sure do love back lighting, which it needs bad.) yea, I know, I know... batteries.. Still, it's what me and the mrs like :)

there should have been backlighting and it should be switchable. but oh well the system rocks. best buy was sold out of castlevania when i got there and i got the 2nd to last mario, but they had plenty of systems. oddly they didn't have the two zelda gbc games. this is a much better launch than PS2, which had less than 500,000 on store shelves at launch date.

RossMAN - look into the electronics boutique trade 4 old GB games for a new GBA game, maybe you can get 2 cheap or used GB games ($5 each maybe) and end up with a new one for the cost of the two old ones.

best buy GBA $90
Mario $30
FZero $30
rechargable battery $15
- $5 coupon (in coupon book dude gave me when i picked up the GBA) for interact battery
- $10 for buying two games (wish castlevania was there woulda been nice to get it for $30)
= $150.

Ross man, look for those battery pack/ ac adapter dealies. They only cost about 10 bucks and work like a charm.
