Read an article a while back about using a P4 mobile chip on a desktop. If I remember correctly, the P4m would default to a 12x multiplier on a desktop mobo. Also said the P4m was cut from center silicone for better quality thus lower voltage needed hence less battery usage. Anyone try a P4m?? 12x @ 200fsb = 2400, clearly in reach for P4 cpus. Would certainly weed out all those boards not ready for primetime when 200fsb P4 chips come out. I am upgrading and am considering this as an option with an ABIT or Epox board. Any help out there on pros or cons??
thanks

I had my 1.7 P4M @ 225MHz FSB with the ABIT IT7. (Original)

EDIT: Just type p4m in the Search Category box up top to see the Official P4m Thread...
