Anyone own Xbox 360 wireless wheel?

Someone offer me just the pedals and wheel, no A/C adapter or anything else for $20. Is it worth it? I can probably find a 24v adapter somewhere. Only plan on using it in my lap so don't need the mount.

My question is, is the A/C adapter needed for it to work? Is it just for the force feedback?

I have the wheel. You do not need the power plug to use it, that is needed for the force feed back and wheel resistance. The wheel will run off the battery pack if needed.

turns out my older logitech force feedback wheel is also 24v and is a perfect fit. Seems to work good.
