Anyone own an Lite-On LVD-2001 ? or LVD-2002 ?

Crap I'm not sure. It cost about 220 CAD. I'll check next time I'm over there. It's only about 2 months old.

I do, pretty good player, Xvid, Divx 4, 5 work great, 3.11 Low-motion still stutters a bit. FF in Mpeg-4 is pretty bad, 1 minute advances and no time search option. Linky

word of caution: Liteon became suddenly very cool about support, and there are rumors about discontinuing it due to reliability problems(sorry about earlier post, I stated reading some info on the web myself). I got mine for 137$ from allthingstech.com, they don't carry it anymore. Also first one crapped out after a week, stopped playing most of recorded DVD+R, so I had to RMA it, second seems to be fine for now. Cool player, but quality is chancy.

Are there any other players that support these features on the market?
Also, what happens when DiVX has updates? How does the player play divx 5.05 if it was designed on 5.0? Firmware updates? And do they come out often enough?

EDIT: And what's the difference between the 2001 and the 2002?

I'm looking at buying a LVD-2001 model quick ... biggest feature for me is the 1080i upcoversion through component output. The LVD-2002 model does NOT support upscaling to 720p/1080i.
