Its an external version of the audigy 2.
I bought one recently and plugged it into an old computer to see if it worked, it played the beethovens 9th tune that comes with windows just fine. However whenever i pressed the mute button i could not get it to unmute at all, not with the remote either. For the record i didn't install any drivers or software or anything because the computers cd-rom is a bit knackered.
Is this a hardware problem or simply because theres no drivers or anything installed?? Eventually this is destined for a laptop i bought but i would like to verify if this piece of hardware is working now before the very short warrenty on it runs out.
