I may soon have a Snap Server 4100 (160gig's of Network Attached Storage, 120g using Raid 5). Anyone ever own one of these or have any experience with them?
From what I understand they use an embedded proprietary OS (Linux based and flashable). I know you can replace the hard drives with larger ones for more space, but not sure if the OS can be flashed with modified ones...
I'll probably just use it to store media and photos with the protection of raid 5.
