I'm thinking of getting one...i really like that simple yet elegant, minimalistic design. How's reliable and sturdy are they?

Yes I have one. Very thin watch.
Skagen watch
Only issue I've noticed is that the backside perimeter silver coating gets eaten away by sweat and shows bronze color beneath. Of course you can't see it unless you take off the watch.
I've had mine since the end of 1997. I like it and would buy another.

I like it too, but they don't have the solar powered ones like seiko (ok, movement powered), citizen and such.

I love my Skaagen watch. I have the titanium one. It's so light and thin that it doesn't feel like its there.
Nah, it was his watch, though. Dealer gave him a good deal on a big batch of poppers for the watch and a Hummer.Originally posted by: tfinch2

Is that where you shop?
Skaagens are beautiful, I have three. One was my wife's. We ferengi all got them for $25 shipped in a long ago coupon rape during the late, lamented intarweb tech boom. Quality and elegance w/o pretension, they are sports cars in a world of overwrought SUV/GI Joe watches.Originally posted by: Inspector Jihad
