V276 has a slightly silvered faceplate where the V265 had glossy black plastic. Screens are the same size, but the V276's is better because it has a wider viewing range, and you can still somewhat read it in ambient light after the backlight goes off. And the hinge creaks.
I bought mine at Best Buy because I could buy it without a contract extension for $50 less than at a VZW store. The hinge on the first one was creaking badly, so I took it back to Best Buy (which I should know by now as "Don't Buy"), where a couple of sales people, a 21 year old "manager," and a couple of "techs" hemmed and hawed and treated me like a criminal for a while before they let me exchange it for a second handset... on which the hinge also creaks.
Other than that, it's a fine phone compared to my LG VX6100 because it actually pulls in a signal reasonably well (like my three previous Motorolas), and the sound quality is better, so I don't have to say "what, what, can you hear me now?" as often as before.
New thread topic that makes no sense: What's better, Motorola or Best Buy? (Hint: The answer isn't Best Buy.)
