Ok, so just in case someone is curious WHY I need this.
I bought a Lexmark E232 printer. If you do a quick web search online, you'll find lots of vendors selling toner carts for "E232/330/332" printers, including high-yield cartridges. (the 232 and 332 look 99.5% identical, however the higher model #s have a faster print speed)
HOWEVER, if you go to lexmark's site, there is a shady notice in the fine print that the "high yield" toner cart is only compatible with the 330 and 332 models.
My ass.
The 232 uses the same DRUM ASSEMBLY as its two bigger brothers. The toner cart snaps into the drum assembly. I don't see any way that the printer could tell which toner cart happened to be installed - HOWEVER, there are two spring loaded pieces of plastic on the inside of the printer, and it looks like their sole purpose might be to prevent a larger toner cart from fitting inside.
Now, normally I'd just run out and buy a high yield toner cart. But they are $140, and I'm not sure any store (rightfully so) would let me return one after I opened it to see why exactly it won't work in my printer.
Hence the reason for my search.
