Anyone own a early-mid 90's MR2? How reliable are they?

Well they're pretty uncommon and they look like they'd be damn fun to drive!

I fail to see how a two seater, turboed, psuedo sports coupe would be even remotely reasonable on insurance.

LOL true, I don't see how a 2 seater sports car qualifies as reasonable. As for the car itself, it's pretty reliable.

Actually, I got a quote on one (i'm 24) and it was $300.00CDN per year more expensive than the POS Cavalier that I currently drive. ($1550 vs 1250) Not bad...
