If so, can you tell me something: Is the screen flat, or pretty flat but not completely, or very curved, or .... how would you describe it? I've searched the Web for hours for a definitive answer and have come up empty. And they're not aperture grille, are they? I think they're shadow mask.
I have an opportunity to buy a two-year-old one that is in immaculate condition, for about 1/4 the original retail price (over the Web; I can't see/touch it in person). I'm leaning towards getting a flat-screen CRT because of the glare advantage, but I also know the p1500 and p1600 have Hitachi CRT tubes in them, which are simply fantastic (and priced accordingly!), so that appeals to me. If the screen is only slightly curved, I might be able to make the compromise.
Any firsthand knowledge would be much appreciated.
